In 2025, the All-Russian Award “Pride of the Nation” will be held in two formats — regional and federal

Applications for the All-Russian Public Award “Pride of the Nation – 2025” are gaining momentum. This year, the final stage of the competition will take place from November 1 to 10. Detailed information about the competition, application deadlines, and other stages can be found in the Regulations.

The Directorate of the Assembly of the Peoples of Russia explained how to apply for the Regional and Federal stages, and what the difference is for potential candidates.

On the official website of the competition, in the “Submit an Application” section, new options have appeared allowing applicants to choose the format of participation that is most suitable for them.

The VI All-Russian Public Award for Personal Contribution to Ethnocultural Development and the Strengthening of Unity of the Peoples of Russia “Pride of the Nation – 2025” was established with the aim of enhancing the activities of civil society institutions working in the field of interethnic relations, developing the volunteer movement, and motivating the personal involvement of Russian citizens in various activities aimed at preserving and developing ethnocultural diversity, strengthening interethnic harmony, and consolidating the Russian nation.

In 2025, the Directorate of the Assembly offers applicants the choice to apply either for the Regional stage — to be considered by the Competition Commission within their federal district; or for the Federal stage — to compete for the status of laureate at the nationwide level.

Applicants may also apply for both formats at once by simply checking both boxes. This will double their chances of receiving well-deserved recognition for their work or project.

Participants of the Regional stage selected by the Competition Commission will be awarded the status of “winner.”
Participants of the Federal stage selected by the Expert Commission will be awarded the status of “laureate.”

“Recognition of applicants is equally valuable in both cases. We want to see as many interesting, authentic, and necessary projects as possible. We want to know who we owe for preserving endangered languages and cultures of the peoples of Russia, for the enormous contribution to strengthening our identity,” — emphasized the Directorate.

Such events contribute to the achievement of the goals and objectives of the federal project “We Are Together” within the national project “Youth and Children.”
