The working visit of Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars to Ufa continues. Today, October 22, he met with the Chief Mufti of Russia and Sheikh-ul-Islam Talgat Hazrat Tadzhuddin.

The meeting was also attended by Alfred Davletshin,the representative of the World Congress of the Tatars in the Republic of Bashkortostan; Ilsur Ikhsanov, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Bashkortostan; and Mars Tukaev, the First Deputy Head of the World Congress of the Tatars.

During the meeting, they discussed the upcoming international conference and ceremonial events scheduled for November 19–20, dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the religious service of the Supreme Mufti and Chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, Sheikh-ul-Islam Talgat Hazrat Tadzhuddin, titled “One Ummah – Common Destiny.”

The events will take place in Bashkortostan and Tatarstan. The head of the organizing committee for the events in Tatarstan is V. G. Shaykhraziev. The organizers are the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the World Congress of Tatars, in cooperation with the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Clerics and scholars from dozens of foreign countries and regions of Russia are expected to take part in the events.
