Items intended to ease their military service were gathered here: camouflage nets, knitted socks, hygiene items, small pillows, prayer books, and other things. There were even letters written by school students.

Next, the participants of the event proceeded to the conference hall. Deputy Head of the Kazan branch of the World Congress of the Tatars Ramziya Gallyamutdinova:

  • From the first day of the special military operation, we have been working together with the volunteer group “Kazan is with You.” There are also many who themselves transport humanitarian aid to our compatriots. There are even married couples. There are those who gifted their personal cars to participants of the special operation. Together we weave camouflage nets. We organize charitable concerts in support of the guys participating in the special military operation. We also work productively with the younger generation. In schools and kindergartens, we conduct patriotic events. In turn, children write letters to soldiers.

Volunteer Sariya Farrakhova:

  • At first, I helped with the delivery of humanitarian cargo to the special operation zone. We always had to look for a vehicle. Today, my family—my husband and son—support me; together we bought a “Gazelle” van. Now we deliver humanitarian aid to participants of the SVO in our own vehicle. They look forward to our arrival eagerly. What matters most to them is a warm attitude, sincere communication, a kind word.

The event was organized by the World Congress of the Tatars with the assistance of the Chairman of the Board of the National Charitable Foundation “Bulgar,” Head of the Kazan Branch of the World Congress of Tatars Farid Miftakhov.

Support for compatriots and the work of volunteers are what unite our people today. The help of volunteers is a strong rear and confidence in tomorrow.
