Vasyl Shaykhraziev meets with leaders of Tatar Public Organizations in the Far Eastern Federal District

Today, Vasyl Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, is on a working visit to Ulan-Ude. The key event of the visit was a district assembly with leaders and representatives of Tatar public organizations from the Far Eastern Federal District.

Following tradition, the meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and a prayer, after which welcoming remarks were made by the officials. Participants included Vasyl Shaykhraziev, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, and Mars Tukayev, First Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars – Head of the Committee for Work with Tatar Public Organizations in the Regions of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, Vasyl Shaykhraziev highly commended the activities of the Tatar organizations in the district. Summarizing the work of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars for 2025, he emphasized that since 2018, similar district meetings have been held annually in all federal districts of Russia, helping to build stable communication between regions. Special attention was paid to preserving the Tatar language, culture, and religious traditions, developing youth initiatives, and interacting with local authorities.

Concluding the meeting, Vasyl Shaykhraziev thanked the participants for their active civic stance and constructive dialogue, noting that the proposals voiced during the assembly would be taken into account when formulating the World Congress of the Tatars’ work plan for 2026.
