A delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of theTatars Vasyl Shaykhraziev, arrived in Buryatia. The delegation members met with the Head of Buryatia, Alexey Tsydenov.

The republics traditionally join efforts to strengthen national cultures.

“Russia’s strength lies in its diversity, in its peoples with different traditions and faiths. Preserving cultures and mutual respect among peoples is an important component of state policy,” shared the Head of Buryatia.

He thanked the leadership of Tatarstan for constructive cooperation, which benefits the entire great Russian people.

“Every time I come here, I see certain changes in everything, new cultural, sports, and educational facilities. There is much to learn from you; it is pleasant to see such development,” noted Vasyl Shaykhraziev.
