The working visit of Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, to Saudi Arabia continues. He is taking part in the “Makkah Halal Forum 2026,” which is being held in Mecca from February 14 to 16.

Within the framework of this forum, a meeting took place between Chairman of the National Council Vasil Shaikhraziev and an advisor to the President of Indonesia – the CEO of the Halal Product Assurance Agency in Indonesia, Ahmadi Haikal Hasan (Ahmad Haikal Hasan). He invited the high-ranking official to take part in the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KAZANFORUM,” which will be held in May 2026. A. H. Hasan stated that he would be pleased to participate if an official invitation is extended. Ahmad Haikal Hasan also mentioned that he will take part in the meeting of the Organization of Standards and Metrology for Islamic Countries, which will take place in Kazan in November.

Vasil Shaikhraziev asked the head to take into consideration that the “Halal” standards committee of the Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan is undergoing accreditation in Indonesia.
