A flower-laying ceremony at the monument to M. Jalil took place in the city of Shadrinsk, Kurgan Region.
On the day of the 120th anniversary of the birth of the great Tatar poet and Hero of the Soviet Union, Musa Jalil, representatives of the Center of the City Public Organization for Tatar-Bashkir National Culture “Duslyk” laid flowers at his monument.
Musa Mustafovich is not just a name in a history textbook. For us, his descendants, he is a symbol of unyielding courage, strength of spirit, and boundless love for his native language and culture. His “Moabit Notebooks,” written in fascist dungeons, became a testament for future generations: “My life rang like a song among the people, my death will resound as the song of struggle.”
The monument was unveiled on November 2, 2024, in the city of Shadrinsk, Kurgan Region.
