At the Sabantuy in Almetyevsk, during the theatrical part of the celebration, a robot in a skullcap named Nur with artificial intelligence made an appearance. Eyewitnesses published video of the participation of this achievement of science and technology in the festive performance.

“Assalamu alaykum, my name is Robot Nur. I have arrived from the youngest and most modern city in Russia — Innopolis. It is a city of the future, and there we are implementing innovations,” said a voiceover on behalf of the robot.

Nur took part in a collective prayer, raising his hands in a characteristic gesture, and danced to Tatar music.
