2212 children from 17 countries took part in the International Literary Award “Glagolitsa”

The final of the IX International Literary Award “Glagolitsa” was held in Kazan on November 14-18.

2212 children from 17 countries took part in the competition, said Irina Khusnutdinova, the founder of the Happy Stories Charity. The works came from CIS countries, as well as France, China, Spain, Germany, USA, Latvia, Bulgaria and Mongolia.

“This year, a record number of works came – 2212. This is 50% more than it was last year,” she said.

Glagolitsa is a competition for writers from 10 to 17 years old. This competition gives an opportunity to get acquainted with recognized masters of the word, improve a native language (Russian or Tatar) and find like-minded people.The program of the literary shift is very rich and includes master classes, creative meetings, briefings and so on.
