Chairman of the National Council visited the Center for Tatar Culture in Yoshkar-Ola

Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council Vasil Shaykhraziev is on a working visit in the Republic of Mari El. In Yoshkar-Ola, the Tatars met him with a chak-chak.

Vasil Shaikhraziev began his visit with a visit to the Center for Tatar Culture in Yoshkar-Ola. The center was opened in 1997. Currently, there are courses on the study of the Tatar language, history. Learn the Arabic language and the basics of the Quran. There are about 15 circles of amateur art activities, sports sections, such as wrestling, aikido, and rhythmic gymnastics.

Many amateur groups are laureates of international, interregional, republican competitions and festivals. The Republican Tatar Center also has clubs for veterans “Hyyal” (“Dream”), women “Muslim”, and Tatar local historians. Vasil Shayhraziev acquainted with their activities. At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the National Council presented the center with a memorable gift from the Congress.
