The international festival-contest of Bashkir and Tatar songs “Idel” will be held in Ufa for the 12th time. The event is scheduled for November 19 and 20 at the Concert Hall “Bashkortostan”.
University art departments’ students performing songs in Bashkir and Tatar languages can take part in the project. There is a special nomination for 6-15 years old participants.
Applications for participation traditionally come not only from the regions of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, but also from the regions of Russia – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ulyanovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, etc. The jury consists of eminent artists of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan.
