Today the 1st All-Russian Native Language Forum started in Kazan. The forum is held under the motto “Upbringing. Education. Language”.

The solemn event was opened by the head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars Danis Shakirov. He congratulated the delegates on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev.

“We express special gratitude to the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The forum was organized on his instructions. Today we see teachers of our native language as representatives of the National Movement. I think that within 3 days we will together find answers to all our pressing questions “, he said.
