Interregional Olympiad in Tatar language and literature will be held in Kazan

The Interregional Olympiad in the Tatar language and literature will take place in Kazan from January 26 to January 29.

More than 100 pupils of classes from the 8th to the 11th, representing 20 regions of Russia, will participate in the Olympiad. In addition to Tatarstan, these are Astrakhan, Kirov, Kurgan, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg, Penza, Samara, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Ulyanovsk regions, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Mari El, Mordovia, Udmurtia and Chuvashia, Perm Territory.

The event is aimed at enhancing the prestige of the Tatar language, as well as providing practical assistance to students and teachers of the Tatar language and literature.

Tomorrow, January 26, the participants of the Olympiad will be organized. In addition, a tour of the Kazan Kremlin   will be organized.

The opening ceremony of the Olympiad will take place on the 27th at Kazan gymnasium No. 27. On the same day, its participants will be able to see the play «Golendam Tutash Hatirase» at the Tinchurin Theater.

The closing of the Olympiad should take place on January 29 at the House of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan.
