The correspondence stage of the V Interregional Children’s Folklore Competition “Turgay” has ended

On August 23, 2022, the results of the Correspondence (qualifying) stage of the V Interregional Children’s Folklore Competition “Turgay” were summed up at the office of the Regional Public Organization “Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Penza Region”.

The purpose of this competition is the development of the child’s personality, fostering a sense of respect and respect for national culture, folk traditions, family values.

Children’s folklore, choreographic, instrumental and theater groups, soloists took part in the competition.
In total, more than 100 works were sent to the competition. Of these, 19 winners were selected and 5 special prizes were awarded by the jury of the V Interregional Children’s Folklore Competition “Turgai”.

Competition Jury:
– Chairman of the jury – Zhigansha Tuktarov, chairman of the Tatar national-cultural autonomy of the Penza region.
Jury members:
– Albert Ibraev – performer, singer, actor of the Penza Regional Drama Theater named after A.V. Lunacharsky;
– Svetlana Kacherovskaya – teacher of choreographic discipline “Penza College of Arts”;
− Gulsina Rafekova – singer, soloist of the Governor’s Symphony Chapel, member of the Union of Musical Figures;
− Konstantin Butin – director of the Penza Cyrillic Theater in Penza;
− Vinera Mukhamedzhanova – Deputy Chairman of the Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Penza Region, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Educational and Youth Policy of the Penza State University;
− Rashid Alyushev – Deputy Chairman of the Tatar national-cultural autonomy of the Penza region;
– Menirya Tinchurina – head of the folklore ensemble “Mezgil”, a member of the Tatar national-cultural autonomy of the Penza region;
– Akzhigitov Kadir Musinovich – a member of the Tatar writers, an artist, a member of the Tatar national-cultural autonomy of the Penza region;
– Albina Shabanova Albina Khalilovna – assistant to the chairman of the Tatar national-cultural autonomy of the Penza region;
– Gulnaz Samochkina Gulnaz Khusnulovna – Responsible Coordinator of the Turgai contest. Deputy Chairman of the Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Penza Region, teacher of history and social studies.

The jury was struck by the rich repertoire of folklore and choreographic groups of Tatar folk art, as well as solo performances.

Our children are not only interested in the language, the history of their people, but also respect the national culture, folk traditions, family values, traditional culture of the Tatars, not only the Penza region, but also Russia.

The event is held as part of the implementation of the project of the cultural and educational marathon “Territory of Talents” supported by the Government Grant 2022 for the development of civil society.

The winners are invited to the in-person stage of the Turgai children’s folklore competition, which will be held on September 17, 2022. Registration of participants from 10.30 – 11.30, the event starts at 12.00 in the Penza Regional Library. M.Yu. Lermontov.
