The results of the photo contest “Ethnographic mosaic of the Tatar people”

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan announced the results of the photo contest “Ethnographic mosaic of the Tatar people”.

In total, 438 works were accepted from 52 contestants from 16 regions of the Russian Federation in three categories: “Celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria”, “Traditions and Rituals”, “Folk and Applied Art”.

List of winners of the photo contest “Ethnographic mosaic of the Tatar people” in 2022:

Nomination “Celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria”:

1. Galiev Ramil (Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan)

2. Kamaletdinov Salavat (Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan)

3 . Alexey Belkin (Moscow region, Podolsk)

Nomination “Traditions and rituals”:

1. Muratov Farit (Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan)

2. Ruslan Nikonov (Neftekamsk, Republic of Bashkortostan)

3. Akhmetchanov Rustam (Omsk region, Omsk)

Nomination “Folk and applied art”:

1. Evgeny Kuleshov (Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan)

2. Sultan Iskhakov (Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan)

3. Ziatdinov Farit (Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan)

The winners of the competition in each nomination are awarded:

  • Diploma of the first degree with a cash prize of 65 thousand rubles
  • Diploma of the II degree with a cash prize of 45 thousand rubles
  • Diploma of the III degree with a cash prize of 25 thousand rubles

The photo contest is aimed at promoting the popularization of the traditions and customs of the Tatar people, the preservation and development of the national identity of the Tatar people in the Republic of Tatarstan and beyond.

The purpose of the photo contest is to increase the role and contribution of photography to the development, preservation and popularization of the cultural heritage of the Tatar people.

The founder of the photo contest is the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is held as part of the implementation of the state program “Preservation of the national identity of the Tatar people (2020-2024)”
