The Thinker book club is a place where participants discuss Tatar works and plays and share their opinions.
The purpose of the club is to gather lovers of Tatar literature in one place, analyze the works of writers and poets and study history.
At the upcoming meeting, there will be a discussion of the novels “Dust” (in literal translation – “The Troubled Years”) and “Muhajirs” by Mahmud Galyau. In these books, the author describes the life of the Tatars in the 19th and 20th centuries.
The first meeting will be held on October 16 at the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan, beginning at 18:30 (Pushkin st, 86)
Discussion of the work “Muhajirs” is scheduled for October 30 in the Eastern Club, starting at 17:00 (Tatarstan st, 8).
