Today, September 17, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, Vasil Shaikhraziev, arrived on a working trip to the Republic of Yakutia (Sakha). He was welcomed by members of the public organization of the Tatar Cultural Centre “Tugan Yak” (Native Land), including Anatoly Mikhailov, Marat Gainullin, Aidar Volkov, as well as Tagir Khusainov, a veteran of the national movement and winner of numerous republican and interregional competitions.
On behalf of the World Congress of the Tatars, V.G. Shaikhraziev presented a harmonium to Tagir Khusainov, fulfilling his long-standing dream.
The agenda for this working visit includes laying flowers at the monument to Platon Alekseevich Oyunsky, a prominent statesman and public figure recognized as the founder of Yakut Soviet literature, as well as at the bust of Musa Jalil, a Hero of the Soviet Union and patriotic poet.
Additionally, there will be a meeting of the Organizing Committee to prepare for the XXV Federal Sabantuy in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), along with a tour of various sites associated with the bank holidays.
