The meeting with representatives of the Tatar national cultural center “Tugan tel” (Native Word) took place in the center of Balkar culture.

Ismail Mananov and Madinat Guber, deputy chairmen of the Tatar National Cultural Center “Tugan tel”, spoke about the life of the Tatar diaspora in Kabardino-Balkaria.

It was noted that the Tatars are Turkic-speaking people, close to the Balkars and Karachais. They have much in common in culture, customs and origins.

A member of the Tatar National Cultural Center “Tugan Tel” Saniya Nastueva spoke about the traditional Tatar cuisine. Madinat Guber talked to students about the traditions of the Tatar people: hospitality, diligence and religion.

The guests of the meeting invited the children to attend the holidays of the Tugan Tel center and other national cultural centers in Kabardino-Balkaria in order to better know the culture and traditions of their neighbors.
