On July 9 and 10, the Days of Tatarstan Cinema are held in Bishkek. Four films were presented to the Kyrgyz audience – “Sumbul”, “Tarlan”, “Apipa” and “823rd km”.

Directors Yulia Zakharova and Irek Khafizov take part in the presentation of Tatarstan films in Bishkek.

“Days of Tatarstan cinema drew a full house. The local spectator took our pictures very well,” noted Irek Khafizov.

The screenings were followed by a discussion. “The audience thanked us and admitted that the films touched them very much. Many who came asked to communicate in the Tatar language,” he added.
