A film crew of program “Halkim Minem” visited Tatar villages in Turkey

As part of a creative trip of the crew of the Board of the World Congress of Tatars, the journalists visited some of the most famous villages in the territory of Turkey, which are densely populated by Tatars .

photo_00049The first village visited by the production team of “Halkim Minem ” was the village Bugredelik, founded at the beginning of the 20th century by natives from the villages of the Omsk oblast.

The second point of the route was the village Osmaniye. It was founded in 1904 by settlers – the Kazan Tatars.

Natives of the villages cherish to the best of their small motherland, but in the villages, fewer and fewer residents, mostly the elderly live. The youth goes to the towns where the jobs are.

After visiting the villages, the film crew arrived in the city of Eskisehir. Here live many Kazan Tatars. They are united by organization, led by Nadi Ozdemer.

This year, the town opened a museum that reflects Tatar history, culture and everyday life. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov rendered help in organizing it, he also took part in the opening ceremony.
