Activists of the TatarTell project voiced in a Tatar speech by Greta Tunberg at the UN

On Youtube  channel the Tatars Urduck   TV,  TatarTell channel mastermind Alsu Hafiz voiced in Tatar a video of Greta Tunberg speaking at the UN. According to Alsu Hafiz, the video was translated and voiced as part of the TatarTell project.

“This idea was proposed to us by  historian Ayrat Fayzrakhmanov. In the future, we want to translate the video on resonant topics in society. Therefore, they chose the speech  by Greta Tunberg, ”- said the activist.

“In this video we decided to draw the attention of the Tatars to environmental problems,” she added.

While the video will be released once every two to three weeks.

Greta Thunberg is a Swedish schoolgirl. At age 15, she began protesting outside the Swedish parliament with the banner “School strike for climate”, calling for urgent action to combat climate change in accordance with the Paris Agreement. Her actions resonated around the world, after which the young activist was invited to speak at the UN.
