May 28, Organization of Tatar women “Ak kalfak ” operating at the World Congress of Tatars , and the staff of the magazine ” Syuyumbike ” visited South-East region of Tatarstan.

Head of “Ak kalfak ” Kadriya Idrissova told about the trip :

– May 28 , we visited the Bavlinsky municipal region. Our journey began with the village Isergapovo. We saw the museum in the village school. It is a museum of their countrymen, the famous Tatar writer, who as a professional sailor brought a sound of the waves, breath of the sea in Tatar literature. Acquaintance with the village continued to house of a large family Kamil Shamsuarov. By hands of family members a very tasty exhibition of Tatar dishes was arranged. Then, we came to the village of Kyzyl- Yar – home of another famous Tatar writer, poet Fanis Yarullin. Had a look at his museum. In conclusion , we have participated in the festival in the regional House of Culture ” Clothing – the spirit of our people “. Here all participants had a unique opportunity to see the dress, which is 149 years old and more “young” kalfak, which is only 120 years.
