All-Russian village Sabantuy, which will be held in the Kurgan region in July, will unite the best artists, masters of decorative and applied creativity, athletes of the Republic of Tatarstan, Trans-Ural and other regions of our country. This was told by Governor of the Kurgan oblast Alexey Kokorin today, May 28, during a meeting with the leaders of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. In an informal atmosphere, the meeting participants discussed preparations for the forthcoming large-scale celebration.
Alexei Kokorin stressed that the holiday will be attended by several thousand people from 30 regions of the country. Also, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was invited to the celebration. All-Russian rural Sabantuy should be organized at the highest level.
– We are ready to receive guests from all over the country. I am sure that everything will be ready in time, All-Russian village Sabantuy on the Trans-Urals land will be a worthy one. This is not just a landmark event in the cultural life of our region, the holiday will bring the cooperation of the Kurgan oblast with Tatarstan to a new level. The main venue of Sabantuy-2018 – the Almenevsky district – border and remote place, it will receive additional inflow of investments, and the infrastructure of the municipality will significantly improve, – said Alexei Kokorin.
As participants of the meeting noted, the fest would not be limited. July 13 in the neighboring area of the Almenivsky district – Shchuchansky the organizers plan to hold a concert of Tatar artists. The main celebrations will be held on Saturday – July 14 in the village of Almenevo. By this day, the national courtyards of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kurgan oblast will unfold here, and visitors from other regions of Russia will also come. For guests all the farmsteads will open in the morning. On the same day after lunch there will be competitions in national sports, the most spectacular of them are the koresh (wrestling on the belts) and equestrian competitions. For children, they organize a separate area – “Children’s Sabantuy”. Also, visitors will be able to see the products of folk craftsmen and acquire them for their memory, learn about the traditions and customs of the Turkic peoples, and taste the national cuisine.
Let’s note, now preparation for Sabantuy goes in a working mode – the organizing committee which includes heads of regional departments, heads of areas in which territory plan to place visitors and to hold a holiday, and also representatives of public organizations are included. Now, various services are putting in order the hippodrome in the Almenevsky district – it is here that the All-Russian rural Sabantuy will pass, and other facilities.
