On November 24, a casting of the beauty and talent contest “Tatars kyzy-2020” will take place at the House of Friendship of Peoples. This was reported by the organizers of the competition.

This year girls from 18 to 24 years old and girls from 5 to 7 years old are invited

It  was  decided to start familiarizing with the Tatar culture and mother tongue from a young age. Not all parents can send their child to kindergartens, where Tatar groups are  functioning. And the kids want to show their talents, communicate with their peers in their native language. Older participants will help them, ”says Rushana Sattarova, coordinator of the Tatar Kyz project.

The main requirement for selection for the competition will be knowledge of the Tatar language. More participants need to present themselves and prepare a creative number. Its organizers offer to devote to the upcoming Mother’s Day.

The finals of the regional contest “Tatar kyzy-2020” will be held on March 20, 2020 at the Udmurt State Philharmonic

The republican contest “Tatars kyzy” has been held in Udmurtia since 2011. In September 2019, the final of the international competition “Tatar Kizi-2019” was held in Izhevsk. A competition of this scale brought to the capital of Udmurtia, Dilyara Gilmutdinova. She won it a year earlier.
