In Tashkent, at the Palace “Turkistan” a gala night of the Tatar language, culture and art, on the Day of Tatarstan within the Republican program “In a single family of peoples of Uzbekistan” was held. The evening was organized by the Tatar public cultural and educational center (TPCEC) in Tashkent with support of the Republican International Cultural Center, Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Representation of “Rossotrudnichestvo” and the Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event in Tashkent has been attended by representatives of the authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Tashkent, national-cultural centers of the country, members of the media, creative intelligentsia.

Zakirov, head of inter-regional and inter-ethnic cooperation and exhibition activities of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan V.R.Dautova, representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan R. A. Shakirov, Chairman of TPCEC in Tashkent R.H.Nabiullin , chairman of the Council of Elders of TPCEC of Tashkent R. A.Giniyatullin.

In his speech, Director of International Cultural Centre of Uzbekistan N.M.Mukhammadiev stressed that many thousands Tatar Diaspora makes a worthy contribution to the development and prosperity of Uzbekistan. Russian Ambassador V. L. Tyurdenev in his speech pointed out a leading role of the Republic of Tatarstan in all areas of economic, social and cultural life of the Russian Federation, as well as an active role of Tatar centers in the maintenance and preservation of cultural traditions among compatriots in Uzbekistan. Chairman of the Board of the WCT R. Z. Zakirov marked a high level of the participants in the annual celebration of the Day of Tatarstan in Uzbekistan, Ambassador of the Russian Federation presented a commemorative gift and congratulated all those present on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Speakers also noted that in Uzbekistan respect for the language, culture, customs and traditions of the nations and nationalities living on its territory, creating favorable conditions for their development, provides opportunities for national spiritual and cultural needs has been ensured.

After the official part of the evening a big concert program took place, performed by a representative delegation of artists from the Republic of Tatarstan: RT Honored artists G. M. Imamieva, R. S. Valiev and favorite of Uzbek audience RT Honored artists – duo A. G. Mingazova and M. M. Galimova

Viewers also have been pleased with art of popular in Uzbekistan performers of Tatar songs and dance groups, including the RT Honored Artist R. Bikbulatova, RT Honoured Worker of Culture R.Manyapova, R. Baymurzina, Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan D.Minyaeva and M.Hakimov , Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan – soloist of Uzbek State choir F.Haldarova, Tatar ensembles “Duslyk”, “Bulgar”, “Izge Nur” and many others. With their items Uzbekistan Tatars have been congratulated by popular creative teams of Uzbekistan, national-cultural centers, soloists of Bolshoi Theatre named after Alisher Navoi, winners of international competitions Feruza and Nasir Yusupovs, as well as a student of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan Shukur Azhimetov. Evening were Honored Worker of Culture of Tatarstan. The evening concert has been conducted by R.Mannyapova and soloist of the ensemble “Duslyk” Sh.Aynetdinov, the event by the anthem of the Tatar people “Tugan Tel”.

The event was filmed by the State Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan for preparation of creative programs.
