On April 13, the closing ceremony of Days of Tatar Culture in Tyumen region took place. The event was preceded by the Morning Star and Folk Art festivals, which took place from February to April.

Every year the number of people wishing to take part in competitions is growing. This year has brought together about a thousand talents from the south of the region.

The evaluation commission selected contestants from each district to participate in the gala concert. Tatar folk dances were performed on stage, poems by prominent poets were read, and much more.

In addition, letters of gratitude from the Committee on Nationalities were presented. They were received by Alfiya Davletbaeva, Larisa Idrisova and Osiya Mamadieva for their personal contribution to the preservation and development of Tatar culture, strengthening interethnic relations, friendship and harmony between the peoples living in Tyumen region.
