On July 2, the national holiday Sabantuy was held in Malmyzh, Kirov region.

During the opening of the event, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev announced that in 2025 Kirov region will host the All-Russia rural Sabantuy.
