Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev is on a working trip to the Tyumen region. Today, in the administration of the Governor of the Tyumen region, he met with Pavel Belyavsky, Deputy Governor of the Tyumen Region for Internal Policy.

“Every year in January and February, we hold meetings in the Federal Districts of Russia, where our compatriots live. Also, every year we organize our national Sabantuy holiday. We can consider the possibility of holding the All-Russian Rural Sabantuy and the International Irtysh Sabantuy in your region,” the chairman said.

The parties also discussed the issue of installing a bust of M.Jalil in Tyumen.

Rinat Nasyrov, representative of the World Congress of the Tatars in the Tyumen region, spoke about the activities of the national cultural societies there. To date, there are 24 of them. A Coordinating Council has also been organized.
