Minnikhanov: “Islamic banking – this is not has gone to the mosque, prayed, and  you were given money …”

The President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, in an interview with the participants of the International Summer Campus of the Russian Academy of Science and Technology, 2018, which has  started today in Innopolis, talked about what is Islamic banking.

“Many people believe that Islamic banking – you went to the mosque, prayed, money  were given. Nothing like this. The same bank. Many European countries use these tools, ” quoted, in particular,  R. Minnikhanov   by  media.

He also noted that although the whole topic of “halal” is for Tatarstan relatively new, in the republic they know how huge the halal lifestyle market is. We remind, this year the International Summer Campus RANHiGS gathered more than 200 students, including about hundreds of foreigners. The key theme of the educational forum this year will be entrepreneurship in the field of culture and entertainment.
