Many events are held in Kazan annually to introduce young people to the culture of the Tatar people. This work begins with the smallest, schoolchildren and adolescents. The day before, the Tatar Children’s Leader School (TSShL) started at the Idel youth center.

Students from grades 7-11 from 15 regions of Russia came to replace them. In total, about 80 people  had gathered. About 80 percent of them participated in the event for the first time. Although there are those who went through more than one shift and now returned here as a counselor. So it was, for example, with Fyarzana Makhmutova from Samara.
