Recital of Moscow group “Shurale” in Kazan

Today much is said about improving the quality of performance and compositions. The viewer becomes more informed and demanding new conditions, make the actors look for modern forms of sound and performance. This what the group “Shurale is.”

The group “Shurale” was founded in 2010 in Moscow. The idea of its work – performance of folk tunes and author’s melodies in a style of world music in original arrangements. The group is currently working on the author’s project, in which points are based on Tatar motifs adapted to a modern European sound. In this case, the text is used not only in Tatar, but also in Russian and English languages. Besides, the musicians write music for films.

Initially, all the songs by “Shurale” were purely instrumental, but with the arrival of vocalist Idel Mukhametzyanova, who is known to participate in a project “The Voice”, the music was added by Tatar national song flavor.

Shurale – a young ensemble that despite the fact that it was in Moscow, performs its songs live in the native Tatar language. The most striking feature of the group is their amazing ethno-rock music that musicians perform both classical and modern arrangements.

Kazan public group “Shurale” is familiar from a qualifying round of Turkvizyon-2014. Then, chairman of the jury selection round Venera Ganieva on the question, who would she mark among the contestants, said she liked the Moscow group “Shurale.”

It is also worth noting that in 2014 a group in full force took part in the VI World Forum of Tatar youth as delegates. We remind that the forum was held in August 2014 in Kazan and gathered more than 600 participants from around the world.

The name “Shurale” is taken from the mythical character of Tatar fairy tales (Russian analogue Shurale – goblin). Their compositions musicians perform unusual and fun, leaving the audience not indifferent. The vocalist Idel Mukhametzyanova participated in the TV show ” Golos ” on the First Channel and advanced to the semifinals.

The band has performed in concerts with the stars of the Russian and Tatar stage at venues such as “The State Kremlin Palace”, “Crocus City Hall”, “Izvestia Hall” et al. It participates annually in Moscow Sabantui and other significant events.
