Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in an a ceremony of opening Rauza Mosque in Kazan

On 28 September Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in a ceremony of opening Rauza Mosque in Kazan.

After reading Surah from the Holy Quran, the Head of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Tatarstan and regional Mufti Kamil Samigullin, Rustam Minnikhanov and regional Minister of Finance Radik Gayzatullin made their welcoming speeches, walked round the mosque and took part in the noon namaz.

The Rauza Mosque is a double-storey building with two minarets and a basement with a men’s prayer room for 300 people and the balcony for 75 women.

The mosque has all necessary facilities including those for the disabled.
