In Nizhnekamsk, the “Tatar Kyzy” contest keeps going. To participate in the contest, the second-year college students majoring in “Cook” came to the library named after G. Tukay. This was reported by  press service of the Nizhnekamsk region of the Republic of Tatarstan.

One of the stages of the competition is to conduct an event in the Tatar language. Finalist Gulnaz Shalafayeva prepared a culinary competition. The choice was not made by chance, because 2019 was declared the Year of Workers in Tatarstan.

Having divided into teams “Chack-Chack” and “Bishmarmak”, future chefs showed their culinary masterpieces. They presented national dishes, guessed riddles, peeled fruits for a time, sorted out cereals – separated rice from buckwheat, demonstrated the skill of decorating  dishes.

The results of the municipal competition “Tatars Kyzy” will be announced on November 6. The Miras Culture House will host the finals of the contest, where eight Nizhnekamkers passed. The girl who coped with the tasks best of all will become the holder  of the title “Tuben Kama Guzele”. The winners in  nominations will also be named.

In addition, a special audience prize  will be awarded.
