From April 10 to 14, the Days of Tatarstan Cinema will take place in the Sverdlovsk Region. The event is held as part of the Year of Unity in Russia.
Audiences will see the film “Mountain of Lovers” (“Gashyklar tavy”) in the Tatar language with Russian subtitles. This travelogue-style film is directed by Salavat Yuzeev and is based on a story by Ildar Yuzeev, People’s Poet of Tatarstan.
Screenings will take place in Yekaterinburg, Bulanash, Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Pervouralsk, Serov, Arakayevo, and Azigulovo.

The Days of Tatarstan Cinema have been held in the Urals since 2019. Last year, audiences watched the film “The Silent Cuckoo” (“Telsez kuke”).
