During a working trip to Baku, Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, met with Mikhail Evdokimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed measures to strengthen cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Azerbaijan. The date for holding Sabantuy in Baku was also agreed upon. The meeting participants reviewed proposals for organizing the festival and finalized the preparation plan.

This year, Sabantuy will take place in Baku on June 13.
