On Thursday, September 24, 2015, Muslims of Ryazan oblast marked the most important holiday of Islam – Feast of the Sacrifice – Eid al-‘Adha – Kurban-bairam. Large-scale celebrations and festive namaz in Ryazan is traditionally held on the square in front of the hypermarket “Lenta” at the entrance to the village Borki. The celebration has been attended by more than 5000 believers. Brothers and sisters were congratulated by imam muhtasib of the Ryazan oblast Rashid Hazrat Bultacheev. He delivered a message by Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, conveyed greetings of Spiritual Boards, of Muslim organizations in the neighboring areas of national diasporas. Muslims were congratulated on Karban bairam by Government on behalf of the Deputy Minister of territorial entities and associations Vladimir Korobkin, on behalf of the Administration of the city of Ryazan – deputy chief of staff Nikolai M. Demko.
Festive prayers on this day were held in mosques of Kasimova, Podlipki Kasimov rayon, Bastanovo Sasovsky rayon, . Azeev Yermishinsky rayon; in prayer rooms of
Skopino and Mikhailovo, in penitentiary institutions. The celebrations culminated by collective meals.
Head of Religious Board of Muslims of the Ryazan oblast, imam Rashid muhtasib Hazrat Bultacheev addressing the gathering told about the opening of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque in Moscow. He mentioned that the reconstruction of the mosque took 10 years and was completed under the patronage of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. More recently, Vladimir Putin took under his patronage the construction of the mosque in Simferopol in the Crimea, the works on which did not move the ball rolling for several years. Turning to the administration of the city of Ryazan, head of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Ryazan oblast expressed the hope that the mosque will soon be built in the city of Ryazan, a plot of land that was allocated back in 2006, and its construction is at the stage of approval of all ready-made documents.

On the eve of Eid–al –Adha, September 23, 2015, in Moscow, the opening of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque after its reconstruction took place. The Moscow Cathedral Mosque was built in 1904 at the expense of the Tatar businessman and philanthropist Salih Erzin – a native of the village Azeevo, now Yermishinsky rayon, the Ryazan region. Under the leadership of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin in 2016, an ambitious project of reconstruction of the building of the mosque was implemented, and its multifold extension was approved and supported by the Russian President Vladimir Putin. Mosque on Vypolzov lane for many decades has been the only Muslim working temple on the vast expanses of the Central European part of Russia. Moscow Cathedral Mosque today – the main mosque of the country. The delegation of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Ryazan oblast led by the imam Rashid muhtasib Hazrat Bultacheevym took part in the opening ceremony of the main mosque in the Russian Federation. From its part, RBM of the Ryazan oblast has issued Islamic calendar with the image of the new sightseeing of the capital of Russia. Today, at Eid-al-Adha, near, the newly opened the previous day the Moscow Cathedral Mosque gathered about 80 thousand believers.
