On 24 October, speaking at a ceremony of honoring players, coaches and the administration of the grass hockey male club “Dynamo-AkBars”, which won the Russian Championship super league, held in the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said : “I congratulate you with the bright victory in the Russian Championship super league. The team spirit and the superb skills and desire to achieve the maximum result brought you the record 21st title of champions of Russia.”

He stated that it is for the second year in a row that our team has a golden treble, having won titles of champions of the country and Russia Cup and Super-Cup.

“It is a unique achievement for Russian and Tatarstan sport,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized and continued: “The highest results in 2023 season are the result of well-planned and goal-oriented work of the whole team. I would to express my words of gratitude to the administration of the team, its players and coaches headed by Araik Artashovich.”

He also thanked the administration of the Russia and regional Grass Hockey Federation, the club sponsors and the Dynamo fitness and sports society and emphasized that joint efforts of the republic created maximum comfortable conditions for training and achievement of high results.

In conclusion Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards to players of the club.

In return the Chief Coach of the club Araik Margaryan said: “I am happy and proud to be working in Tatarstan.”
