Today, April 22, the World Congress of the Tatars welcomed guests from the Mendeleevsky District. Danis Fanisovich Shakirov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars and Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, addressed the teachers working in the education system and students in grades 8-11 with a welcoming speech. The main goal of this meeting was the preservation and development of the native language.

“This meeting is especially warm for me because my fellow countrymen have gathered here. I express my gratitude to Rais Gabsalamovich Nazipov, the head of the education department, who organized this meeting. Our work often requires us to travel to different countries, and if you, the youth, know the Tatar language, it means you understand 14 different languages,” noted Danis Shakirov.

Also speaking at the event were Suleiman Tuktarovich Rakhimov, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars and Head of the Committee for National Education, Culture and Sports, and Raynur Raufovich Khasanov, Chairman of the Public Organization “World Forum of Tatar Youth” and Head of the Committee for Work with Tatar Youth.
