Today, May 29, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, Vasil Shaykhraziev, is on a working visit to Penza Oblast.

The guests watched the premiere performance "The Wind Walks in the Old House," which was presented to the audience as part of the season finale.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of interregional cooperation. Special attention was paid to the preparations for holding Sabantuy in Mordovia.

The visit also includes an inspection of renovation work at the Aksyonovo House of Culture, a visit to the war heroes' monument, and a visit to the mosque.

The citywide family festival "Kurban Fest" will take place on May 27 at the "Yelmay" children's park (Kazan Embankment). It starts at 1:00 PM and ends at 5:00 PM. Admission is free.

Over 80 applications have already been submitted for participation in this event from publishing houses and 15 authors, including representatives from Belarus, Iran, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other regions of the Russian Federation.

The annual competition's final chord was a large-scale gala concert.

Minsk will become the second city, after Brest, that Rustam Minnikhanov is visiting during his working trip to the Republic of Belarus.

Sabantuy 2026 took place with grand scale and songs in the Privolzhsky District of Astrakhan.

The event participants included young people, youth work specialists, representatives of local government bodies, non-profit organizations, and activists from various municipal districts of the Omsk Region.
