A meeting of Tatar activists was held in Izhevsk

On January 13, a meeting of leaders of Tatar public organizations was held in the capital city of the Udmurt Republic. Such meetings have been organized since 2018.

The event was moderated by the Chairman of the Regional Tatar National Cultural Autonomy of the Udmurt Republic Ramziya Gabbasova.

According to her, about 100,000 Tatars live in the Udmurt Republic. They live hand in hand with other peoples, support them and try to simultaneously preserve and develop their native language, religion and culture. Head of the Republic of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov and the Government of the Republic help our compatriots in this.

“We are very pleased and proud that this meeting is taking place this year on our land, in the capital of the Udmurt Republic,” said Ramziya Gabbasova.
