Yesterday, the Astrakhan Regional Public Organization – the Tatar National Culture Society “Duslyk” hosted a vibrant event: a recitation competition dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay.
Young talents from the Privolzhsky and Narimanovsky districts, as well as from the city of Astrakhan, took part in the literary competition. The children recited the poet’s works with great inspiration, demonstrating their knowledge and love for his legacy.
The winners of the competition, who took first, second, and third places, will have the opportunity to perform at the festive concert to be held on April 26 in honor of Gabdulla Tukay’s anniversary. This will be a wonderful opportunity for the young reciters to share their skill with a wide audience.
