Today there was a meeting with students of the correspondence department of the Kazan Higher Madrasah named after the 1000th anniversary of the adoption of Islam. The event was attended by the head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars Danis Shakirov.

During the meeting, he spoke about the history of the World Congress of the Tatars, projects implemented by the organization for 30 years, about the activities of Tatar religious figures and activities carried out in this direction. He also informed the students about the events that took place in the regions on the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria.

The rector of the madrasah Ilyas hazrat Ziganshin and the first deputy head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars Mars Tukaev also took part in the meeting.
