At a meeting of the Commission under the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan on State Prizes, the candidates for the 2026 Gabdulla Tukay State Prize were determined.

During the visit, a meeting was also held with Lasha Ashuba, Speaker of the People's Assembly of Abkhazia.

Today, March 24, a press conference dedicated to the 14th All-Russian Gathering of Entrepreneurs from Tatar Villages took place at the World Congress of Tatars building.

This year, applications opened on March 2 and will continue until April.

As part of the working visit, it is planned to inspect sites proposed for holding Sabantuy in Abkhazia, as well as to review the land plot where the construction of a Tatar cultural center is planned.

The contest is organized by the charitable foundation for the support of national traditions “Vatan,” headed by Rinat Maksumovich Valiev.

The exhibition is being held at the Museum of Contemporary Ethno-Art of the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve and is dedicated to the memory of Gabdulla Tukay.

The events are open to everyone.

Applications for participation in the regional stages are accepted until July 5, 2026.

During the visit, an excursion was organized for the students, during which they learned about the activities of the mission, its main tasks, and functions.
